Hi all,

I have porn, lots of it, and I no longer want it as it is now considered clutter.

Easy way is to put it in the bin.

But this is YEARS of my work collecting it. Travelling around the globe buying porn whereever I went, downloading it from pay sites.

I have 4 towers of around 100 DVDs each and around 100 VCDs.

This comes to more than 2 terrabytes of porn I have downloaded or bought.

Seems like a waste to throw it away....

But how does one give it away safely?

My friends have already taken as much as they can without triggering their wives' suspicion.

Half it is is mainstream Euro / American porn, half of it is Japanese. All hetero, no fetishes.

Any thoughts?

Cheers.

If you have a local porn shop, they might be willing to buy the purchased discs from you. You might only get a buck a piece if they do.

But you if decided to keep it, maybe up in the attic, I would box it all up and tape it shut really good. Then I would write on the box, or print it out as a label so my handwriting isn't recognizable, something like "Personal & Breakable! Holding for Marc, May 2010" on all sides. Who's Marc? It don't matter! If somebody asks, say a new girlfriend or wife, you just say you knew a guy named "Marc" - Who doesn't? - and you're holding his stuff for him but you haven't heard from him in a long while and have no way of reaching him.

Then if someone demands that you open it, you just need to make sure you are 'surprised' by what you find.

There are also sites where you can sell your porn, kinda like an ebay site. If the Japanese stuff is all in the original cases, you could probably get a good chunk of what you paid for them back. There are a lot of people out there who collect porn not so much to wack off to it but it's just something they collect, like thimbles or cookie jars.

I forgot to mention the stuff you have saved on HDs. The general porn stuff I would just do a mass delete and not look back. You probably have stuff you don't even remember having. But if there are a few videos you are especially fond of, I would save those as passworded zip files. You could even double zip them to really keep the snoops out.

If you have stuff, like softcore stuff, from sites that no longer exist, please don't delete that stuff. Instead, consider zipping it up and posting it. I and another guy have toyed around with the idea of starting a archive site of sorts to preserve defunct sites. It's something I keep meaning to ask the admin here about setting up a section where only old and removed stuff could be posted to keep it alive. I'm a bit of a amateur porn archaeologist of sorts! Very Happy

So if you do have rare or hard to find stuff, please go easy on deleting it. But if it's just generic stuff you can find most places, delete away.

I have done exactly that....I was ripping sites since 56k modem days and BEFORE web site rippers were available, so a lot of work went into it.

I kept all the porn from the porn sites that are no longer available. PureDee, planetspice, rachelweb those were the fun days.

Rip em' onto a 2 or 3 terabyte hard drive. Buy a few of those. They don't take up so much room and you can dispose of the dvds. I might even recommend a back up.

easy way to destroy cd-dvds is to put them in the microwave for about 10 seconds and watch them pretty sparks, just dont overload the microwave with too many disc and only turn on the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds.... thats after you rip them to ur external HD. Wink you never know you might have something rare in your collection, especially if you been downloading since the 90's.

+1

I remember as kids finding porn mags in bushes having been left there by the "porn fairy". You now have the chance to become a porn fairy, just go round your neighbourhood distributing the dvds into random bushes.

I had a couple of boxes of old computer mags that I put at the curb. Nobody would take them. So I taped the boxes shut and wrote "Old Playboys" and "Penthouse mags" on them and they were gone in 20 minutes. It works!

Don't sell Porn ! Its your hard work in collected it.
Just keep it on the roof or in some storage room.

Let be there for some time.

i am damm sure , you will gonna need it after some time in your life .

And at that time your choice vids and clips are really hard to find.

How much space it gonna cost ? 1 Box max .

You can keep it anywhere hidden in whole house Very Happy

I used to run a straight porn DVD review web site. I had over 4,000 straight porn vids sent to me by the studios.

When I closed my site, I wanted rid of the straight porn DVDs but I kept the lesbian ones. Twisted Evil Very Happy Very Happy

Each week I threw around 200 DVDs into black plastic bags and put them in my Recycle bin. I needn't have worried as I heard them go crunch, crunch, crunch from the waste vehicle as it went down the road. Very Happy

* I did try to sell them to a sex shop. But he was only offering 50 cents a DVD yet was selling them for $12 a DVD. I would rather throw them out than make them rich. Cool

A recent computer crash has sent me searching for a lot of old school stuff I'm so very fond of, Pure Dee to name just one. It's amazing how much you miss it when it's gone. Yet when it was just sitting there, buried within the hard drive, I barely glanced at it. Now trying to find working downloads for that stuff is proving to be a real project.
