For whatever reason that sometimes will happen. Put them in one folder, select from the folder menu Tools/FolderOptions/View and uncheck Hide File Extensions for Known File Types. Now edit the '.html' from the end of the files so that the file extension then becomes .rar rather than .rar.html. Choose OK when asked if you do want to change the extension(s), and then reset the option to Hide File Extensions back to the way it was since you are now done renaming the extensions from .rar.html to simply .rar. That is all you need do.
