They are all medal winning gymnasts from the Romanian team. They got in a lot of trouble with the Romanian Gymnastics federation and if my memory serves me right they all got banned from coaching for a number of years after doing this DVD for the Japanese. Apparently, there was a huge fetish for this type of thing in Japan at the time.
