Hmmmmm, are you affiliated in some way with the site? If you are then you should make this known.
This is portioning out old stock pictures, with a couple of exceptions. There is nothing happening on the site that indicates that this time around there is going to be any improvement to the service.
The removal of the "3-4 times a week" promise is not the best sign. |

If I may say something on this topic: I have e-mailed the Wiz on occasion, asking him some of the exact questions to which you refer BigA, and he has re-assured me that all of the updates (zips, new girls, new photoshoots of old girls, etc.) are coming in the next few months. Of course we may choose not to believe him, but I do. Time will tell, you are right.
Regarding the new updates, I for one think they are all as hot as ever - vintage Crush - the reason I joined from the start and will keep coming back. For me I could give a care less when they were shot, they are new to us, aren't they? What's he supposed to do, not use the photoshoots he shot before? It only makes sense that he might first use those galleries, then slowly migrate to the new ones. Anyway, those new Jez galleries alone are worth the 20 bucks - a bargain for such quality, as far as I'm concerned!
Like a lot of us folks, I love Crush, simple as that, always have, and am simply happy the Empire is back. The updates have picked up, and that makes me feel good about it as well. As far as I am concerned, I choose to keep my fingers crossed and will hope for the best. |

If you enjoy the sit then more power to you! I like it as well, the problem is that in the past the Wiz has shown a lvel of disdain for the paying public. let's not forget that he (they?) allowd the old site to run for several months, the only update being the promise of the next update!
I don't care that the stuff is older, I do care that when it re-opened the older stuff was not there immediately and the new stuff started from the start, so as to generate a level of trust straight off the bat.
I disagree with you on the quality of the new girls. Put them next to Jez, Athena, Leah and even Cleo and you would have to be pretty blind to think they are as good!
I am prepared to give it a chance but my cynicism is born from having lost about $100 to th site where I got nothing from them but empty promises. This time I am being far more cautious! |

Dear BigA. I've got the same point of view.
Crush was for me Jezebel before all, and also athena. Without new Jez, there is no more reason to go on.

The Scrapbook has been updated (first time in about 2 years I think) and there is nothing in there but some artwork of a sci-fi pyramid and a treated older pic of Jez.
I am hanging in there to see what happens but so far no sign of newer stuff from the old Crush girls and it is getting towards mid-Feb.
Hope it picks up soon enough. |

One new girl has been added but the shoot doesn't really show very much at all, she has a pretty face though.
I am getting a bit tired of the Friday Night Movie that is "coming soon" as it has been doing that for about 2 months now! It is a Jez one so I suspect it is an older one, should really be up by now.
The sets are all available in Zip format as well, this is a massive step forward and well done for that! |

Been lurking around the board for some time, and this is the first time I think I have had any real input to speak, thus this is my first post lol...
Has there been any significant movement on this? Just curious....
I do agree that Jez was definately the site before and her abscence this time around certianly plays a factor in decideing to give it a go again this time around... |

Well the new movie is yet to appear, kind of getting a bit tired of waiting for it. The thing has been promised for well over two months now!
The updates in March have been a bit slow and the new girl is cute but two updates into her first shoot and there is a bit of tit! Sorry, too much filler on that.
You can see that efforts are being made to improve the site overall, the menus are better and the zip files make a lot of sense.
Just wish the new movie would get going! |

Just a wee thing. The latest update of Twyla is an example of what tends to be wrong with the site. 10 or so pics from the same angle with absolutely nothing really happening. After a delay of a couple of days an update like this doesn't do the job.
Not sure why, but the Wiz can get it very right but seems to lack a quality control sometimes. Twyla is not a good looker frankly and updates like this are best simply skipped. |

Crush is and has always been different from the average "porn" site. Crush is primarily about erotic and art, and not (solely) about nudity, be it soft- or hardcore. If you're expecting Crush to become more daring or even hardcore, thus becoming just like all the other sites that are to be found in abundance on the Net, then I'm afraid you're backing the wrong horse. For my taste, this web site is quite too sophisticated as regards its appearance and its portrayal of the girls to be compared to other mainstream porn sites. By the way, you're still speaking of delays in updates - there are updates every two or three days. What do you want the artists at Crush Studios to do? Rush at things and release hundreds of pictures every day, preferably with girls that are nude and doing hardcore from the very first picture to the last of a photo shoot?

Of course everyone has their likes and dislikes, and so are you entitled to like a model or not. But do me (and maybe yourself) a favor and search for her on Pea*hy forum... if she isn't a "good looker" and should be skipped as you said, why do so many people like her and demand for new galleries with her? Also, Twyla's new set is the first of a series of sets from this photo shoot. Maybe you haven't realized... almost all Crush galleries start that way - they've always done so, ever since Crush's start in 2001 (as a non-nude modeling site!!).
What I want to say is: I respect your efforts of reviewing the web site and writing about it, and I also respect you opinion on the site. But just as you have your own, subjective view of things, so do I have mine - and I think you're not doing Crush justice, at least not as regards your demand for nudity and quantity over quality (referring to the update frequency and amount of pictures per set). |

Sorry, my mistake, it is Estrella. However this is part 4 (four) of the shoot and it is going nowhere. Even in the old days part 4 of a shoot would be getting somewhere. This one isn't.
I will say that Twyla is a looker, my mistake in reading it earlier. Estrella does bugger all for me and updates like this should simply be shelved.
I get the distinct impression you are more involved in the site than as just a customer. Not saying it for sure but if you do then please nail your colours to the mast here. I have had run ins with people on these forums before that hide their true connections to sites and try to voice opinions as "fans" of the site whereas they are actually part of the site. I am not saying you are, just your detailed counters to my posts seem to lead me that way!
I would rather an update schedule be published and be held to rather than the two to three days as current. I was a member at the time when it all went pear shaped and the lies came thick and fast. The fact that the relaunch is relying heavily on older stuff simply means that they should have been spending the time getting things back up to speed. The constant promise of the new movie has been in place now for over two months. Should have been started by now.

No one is comparing it to mainstream porn sites. I like it, that is why I am staying on at the moment. What I don't like is one of the three updates being so lousy. If you are only going to produce that many updates then they should all be good. On any artistic, creative or aesthetic basis the Estrella update was rubbish.
What do you want the artists at Crush Studios to do?

If you're still grieving about the money you lost at crushphoto, why didn't you ask CCBill to refund you the money? If you didn't try that, well you've had your chance ...
The only thing youre doing here is stiring up against crushempire.
Only harping on about what happened in the past... I don't know if that's fair.

Hi Pointless.
No I haven't reviewed anything else on here. To be honest the site is worth it for one thing alone right now aside from the updates. The fact that the Zip files of the previous sets are available. Though the navigation is nice getting all the pics was always a tedious process and not one to do in a hurry. Now that the entire back catalogue is there and available I would recommend you try it for a month and see what you like about it. The access to all of the sets easily is worth it alone!
The update schedule has improved but it is Saturday morning again and there is no movie yet. It could be going up but so far there is no Friday update. Jez is down as the next update to come so maybe it is the new movie, I certainly hope so as it has been advertised for about two months so far!
I woud give it a shot for a month, see how you like it and get all the sets on Zip. That makes it good value. |
