I lived in Rio de Janeiro Brasil from 2003-2005, during which time I shot almost 60 films. At the time, I intended to start my own site. Right when I had it ready to launch, Bush & Asscraft passed 2257. Rather than deal with the bullshit, I shelved the site.
Now I'm cleaning out the closet and realize I still have all of this original content. I don't really want to go through the hassle of starting my own site, but I have almost $50,000 invested in the content!
My question for you webmasters?
What's the best way to make some coin from this content?
Thanks. This site's awesome btw... |

Sure you can make money on it. But, there is only 1 way. ONLY 1.... or you go to jail.
You must find all the models from the material, and have them give you valid IDs and fill out the 2257 and model releases. You must have all this material on file, or you can throw away this material. No one will touch it.
The laws are there to protect everyone. You included. If you have the right proof that they were all 18 at the time of filming, you are protected, and can make money.
I know many people that buy materials, but it must be backed by all needed docs. _________________ Nansy is My girl..... I want more |

i find it very hard to belive that you have almost $50.000 invested in the material. If you lived and shot in Brazil at that time, then the investment for 60 films wold have been a fraction of that amount.
might need some clarification |

$300-400 usd per model.
$100-150 for the locations at premium love motels
Camera work, editing, lighting and dozens of two girl/one boy shoots and you can easily see $50k.
And that's when the currency was 3-1. Now that it's 1.7 to 1? It'd be $20k more!
All model release forms and ID's are on file. What I didn't like about the new 2257 laws was the 'guilty until proven innocent' way the US government treats us, so I just said fuck it and never started the site. But i will sell the content if anyone's interested. |

Then as a commercial shooter and business entrepreneur - you should look at the bigger picture - sic - if you are still around - and if not then - why not? The market environment - if it is so restricted - consider - another environment - that removes the constrictions currently abhorent to you. Move the product to the market - all things considered and paperwork in place - compadre ... ?

I would welcome your suggestions as to where you think I should open up my site.
Thanks |
