OK guys, the other games seem to run out of steam so let's try a new one.
Think of an actor (or actress if you still use that term ) and write a short description that combines two of their roles. If anyone can figure out what I'm trying to explain and do it better, feel free.
Here's an easy one to get it started.
Space smuggler who finds an old cup.
Who's the actor and what are the two characters? |

Well, if your Gaelic hero is William Wallace in Braveheart, the other guy should be Tom Mullen in Ransom. Mel Gibson.
Jitna, I don't know how you ever managed that first one. |

Not as far as I can tell, I just can't figure yours out yet. It's one of those, "I know this one, but..." things.
C'mon, somebody! |

I think that might be Tom Hulce (he was a gambler AND a y0ung3r bro in Parenthood)

Wow, Sugarman. I thought the Parenthood reference would be obscure enough to be a stumper! Nice. The other half is of course his most famous role as WAM in Amadeus.
Man, that one is tough. The only thing I can come up with (and it's a stretch) is Tom Cruise in War of the Worlds and Top Gun??
What are the rules for this game? Do we need confirmation of the most recent solution before posting a new one? Or should we just post away and then have all unsolved (and unconfirmed by the originator) clues be collected every page or so in a summary post? So far I am liking this game, although that last one shows that some clue pairings could probably apply to multiple actors.
Dancing FBI agent is also a wacky inventor. |

Actually I was referring to Will Smith in MIB and Hancock but I agree the clues can be a little cryptic and so more than one answer should be acceptable.

Son of a... You're killing me here. I deliberately threw the "dancing" and "wacky" in there becasue I thought it might be too hard otherwise. But no more! Only hard clues from now on because of Sugarman!

I knew it was a stretch. I could actually probably come up with a couple others for that one...Harrison Ford again (Star Wars, Empire), Bill Pullman (Spaceballs, Independence Day), etc.

OK, I was stuck on Ed Norton at first...but Eric Bana in Hulk and The Other Boleyn Sister.
OK, my last one for today:
