Do you mean file or folder?
I suppose you mean "file", you can't upload folders, even if you have the same result if you upload all files in a windows folder to RS and create a linklist afterwards.
If it's you first time let me suggest you start with a smaller file, let's say 5Mb (or smaller, maybe use a pic) for testing purposes to see if it works, how long it takes (depending on your connection speed) and how to use the link that you will receive in the end.
First you should register at RS and/or MU. You don't need it, but it will help to keep an overview of your links and a file that is anonymously uploaded at RS can only be downloaded ten times, so you better open a collectors account.
Registering at MU can be done before uploading, after you get the info, log in and upload. At RS, upload a small file and afterwards you get asked if you want to create a collectors account (where this file will appear then). In both cases you need an email adress. Always make sure that you are logged in before starting the upload.
Filesize: RS has a limit of 200Mb, MU 500Mb. If you want to upload a scene that is bigger you have to use a splitting utility as WinRar or HJSplit.
