I'm probably spamming

Hi all,
I got warned just because I helped a friend of mine doing a series of upload... so now I would like to open a discussion, I hope this is the correct section, if I'm wrong please move it.
1) I' ve been told Hotfile is in the forbidden list. This sounds so odd to me, hotfile is one of the biggest hoster, it has the same number of member as megaupload, and in other sites I've seen members using it more than rapidshare.
I am not a premium member of hotfile, I repeat I just helped a friend...so it's not my big interest, I'm just curious to hear your opinion.
2) Tinypaste:
It is a site where you can paste everything you want and they will pay 1 dollar each 2k views, but it is not a cash link or something with lot of annoying pop-up, it's just a free service where one can paste rs links and send people to download them from there.
I am asking if this could be put in the allowed list.

3) Why couldn't I put my rapidshare referral link in my signature?
This is something you should permit, It doesn't make damage to someone... I am only asking to put in my signature something like:

"Please help me by buy Rapidshare premium from my referral number. You'll download with high speed, no waiting time and unlimited parallel downloads" [..link]

I am not **** or harassing people with this, and I repeat once again, as I told to louis in PM, I am member of a dozen of forum and this is the first where it is forbidden (and some of them are small forums with strict rules).

Please consider to review my suggestions and eventually change some forum rule. Thank you.

You got a warning for:

"using unapproved folder service (tinypaste) and offering hotfile links there, advertising RS-referrer"

There's a list of approved file hosting sites here:

Arrow Permitted File Hosts, Image Hosts and Link Protectors

If hotfile isn't listed there, it's forbidden. Simple.
You can read the complete hotfile discussion here:

Same as for hotfile.
The list above shows also all allowed link protector/shortener, if not listed, it's forbidden. And it won't be allowed, if it pays money.

No, referral links aren't allowed as well.
If someone decides to buy a premium RS account and he used one of your links, fine, but no advertising, see/read the rules:

Arrow Rules

Thanks. I read the whole thread.
Well seems like you are stubborn about this, so it is useless I keep trying to make you change policy...
I don't know the reason why you hate Hotfile though;
Rapidshare is paying money when you reach 50.000 premium points, they have at the moment a rating of 0,94 € = 1000 points. So where is the difference? The quality of RS service is superior I agree, but forbidding HF won't help to keep this board better. On the contrary many people will move to other boards where they don't have to waste 30 min only for reading the list of prohibited craps.

Almost all (larger/famous) boards have a list of prohibited sites and services.

You can convert premium points in money, but you must not.
That's the real difference, despite the others (no. of dlds etc.).
You can extend your membership with points and don't have to pay anymore and that's what most people do.
Or grab one of the rewards.

Hotfile and many others will only pay cash, and the rules say, forbidden, if they (OCH = One Click Hoster) pay the uploader.
The rules including this one were made long ago and therefore no "click and pay" hoster/link shortener/urlcash sites are allowed.

If someone don't like these rules, he's free to leave.
But a lot of other boards I know have lots of spam posts no one takes care of right in time, annoying hosting sites (vip-file, letitbit etc.) and usercash links.
Not my cup of tea, I like it here.
