Not the end of the world... But DAMN!! Stalling Jessica's second video at episode three for a week and a half and then slamming the door shut? That's more than any mortal can be expected to tolerate without a fight.

I feel ya, buddy.

You can always do what I used to do, just re-join, and deal with the unevenness and irregularity of the updates. Small price to pay for the quality. And we are talking basically about amateur models living in another country. They ain't making Wonder Bread here.

Anyway, welcome aboard.

shrefnols; You may call my reasoning sideways Smile , but when people talk about sueing and false advertising, lets get the facts out there. In what area is my reasoning "sideways"? Where did I "make something up"? You are back-pedaling now, but re-read your first post, pretty strong stuff!

Quote:

I've joined the site three times over the past year and a half and have no less content to show for it than if I had let the subscription ride

So you have got 18 months worth of content for the price of 3 months, and yet you are "supporting TF efforts", and still are some how being cheated at the same time? How do you think continuous monthly members, that really are supporting the site by paying monthly, feel about your statement? If everyone used your scheme and joined once a year or two, grabbed all the past content and ran, I wonder how long the site would remain profitable or stay in business?

Who is really ripping off who? How is it fair that I should pay almost 6 times what you do for the same content? And MY reasoning is sideways... Razz

I know of a japanese site that works on a points system. Continuous members rack up points and gain access to past content that has been locked. This helps to prevent "hit and run" members. Maybe TF should take that approach. this way, those who pay more (monthly), get more.

I just hope the whining on the wording about site updating does not lead to less updates (the easiest approach for site admins).

In any event, I am glad you have softened somewhat in your approach and are apparently here to stay with us. Very Happy

Jeez, Josiah...

Take a pill, would ya? It's not like I went after your girlfriend or anything. I doubt the Samaritan is losing as much sleep over this as you so why you feel the need to defend him is beyond me. If it's personal, I really doubt that my bitching is going to adversely affect your membership. You keep saying that I mentioned suing someone. You should research that one. I don't think I've been backpeddling anywhere either. The Samaritan treated this with a pretty good sense of humor from the outset. Why should't I? I wasn't THAT pissed...

Happy to be a part of the group. Now, can we change the subject and discuss the eighth wonder of the world ----- Helena's rack in the dancing with Lara video. God in Heaven.

Will never happy. The verbage is there now to attract customers. Who would join a site that updates once every two weeks? I'd rather join a site that updates daily. That's just me. The verbage will never change, it's a marketing play. A total scam that pisses off a lot of people, but the admins don't seem to care since people pay.

I'll just stick to the forums, hell, I get more updates and stuff from the forums than I get from the damn site I'm paying for.

You mean you have been a member for six months and haven't downloaded the updates for "every working day" for that period? They have been made available, all but slightly delayed by a few days, so how is that a "scam"?

You have been so dissatisfied that you put up with being "scammed" for six months? Well, you dont sound like a total rube to me, rather an intelligent person, so it couldn't have been that bad or you would have left after the first month, right...?

Alot of the members of the site have been on the site for a while already, and "have gotten use to it", by their own admition. I'm sorry, if my arm is rotting off my body slowly, I'm not going to "get used to it", I'm going to get some help! Read all the people who ARE NOT staying, or who choose NOT to be monthly members. The site is losing money because of the lack of updates. In WHAT business model is that acceptable. Oh wait, when the "scam" still brings them in, and they can claim the quality is there. Well, as seen in many posts on this forum, Met-Art also has the quality... AND the promised updates. I have since joined that site. If they continue to deliver, I will cancel my membership here. I'll probably drop by every couple months to download the backlog.

No, I do not download the updates for "every working day" because there are NO UPDATES EVERY WORKING DAY. TWO OR THREE TIMES A MONTH I will download the 10 or so new items.

As for "slightly delayed a few days". If your paycheck was "slightly delayed" for almost three weeks, wouldn't you be pissed as hell. I'm sure there would be some vocalness about how you don't work for free, and how are you expected to come to work and do your job when you can't even get paid. Well, that's how WE (speaking for all the customers who feel jilted) feel about the situation. Now, let's pretend that the payroll office won't even return your phone calls. Your manager keeps telling you that's he's on it, and you'll get paid... For one week... Two weeks... Three weeks....

You keep implying that everyone who complains can't read, and gets exactly what is said. That's just plain wrong.

Stated on the Free Gallery is THIS:
Quote:

Now updated EVERY work Day of the Week with all new never before seen Video and Pictures !

It does *NOT* say every TWO days. In fact, the "EVERY" is in all CAPS to bring your attention to this fact. Notice how the "work" is in lowercase, while the EVERY is in all caps, and then "Day" starts with a cap? It's a mind thing. 90% of people's minds will skip the "work" in that sentence when they read it. Now look at the sentence as a whole. It states "... with all new never before seen Video and Pictures!". Video *AND* pictures. Yet, when you look at the updates, you get pictures one day, and video the next. The actual phrasing should be "...Pictures OR Video!"

The phrase is MEANT to be deceiving. As I stated, it is a marketing ploy. If used in the public media, the company would be sued in a heartbeat. But, as someone else pointed out... Who's going to sue a porn site. What judge would take that seriously. Then again, my neighbor sued another neighvor here because her dog ate part of their Rose bush last year, and the dog died. The dog ate some pesticide that killed the dog. The lady with the dog won. The judge thought the lady had a responsibility to use safer chemicals on the plant. It only takes one person to sue and win to make the whold industry stand up. But wait. My guess is that the site isn't even hosted in the US. Nearly all US hosting companies will not allow the hosting of porn sites. So, is US law even an issue here...
Actually if you WHOIS the domain, it was Registed by GoDaddy.com. You cannot pull up any information on them in any standard WHOIS search. It says you must go to GoDaddy.com for full details. So... You go to GoDaddy.com, and do a WHOIS. Wait... What's this... NO INFORMATION. Let me hide my suprise and astonishment. It appears the search errors out, or is incomplete. Run it 15-20 times, and you'll get 2 or 3 diff results, but all the same. NOTHING.
Now.... If you dig down, REALLY DEEP in the bowels of the internet. You can dig up the fact that teenfuns.com is owned by Domains by Proxy, Inc. of Scottsdale, Arizona. Oh wait. That's in the US. So, they ARE governed by US laws. As a business, they must adhere to the business laws of that state. I'm QUITE sure there are laws against false advertising in Arizona. You know what. There is a phone number here (not posting for obvious reasons), I think I will call them tomorrow and see if I can't talk to someone in person about my issues. Maybe then they will be more forthcoming.
If it ends up that Domains by Proxy, Inc. is not in charge of the website at all. Well, I guess I'll just have to file several complaints with the state there on how business is conducted. Their name is the registrant, and they are responsible for the site. If the site is sold, or otherwise under another's control, the registration information should reflect that.

Josiah, as for your math where you calculate that everyone gets what they paid for. No, it's quite simple. Day 0 I pay for 30 days of subscription. In that 30 days there will be 22 WORK DAYS. I am expected to have 22 new Pictures AND 22 new Videos. *NOT* TWO updates that *MIGHT* equal 22 new items.
In the most recent case. It's taking THREE WEEKS to update the site. People who subscibed 30 days ago got *ONE* update. That *ONE* update had 10 new things. How does 10 = 22 in ANY math?!
Why are their updates that have "Coming Soon" ? How is that an update? How can that be counted as an update?

Fact of the matter is they are *NOT* providing what is advertised. That is a simple FACT. It is *NOT* an occassional few days delay. It is a CONSTANT SEVERAL WEEK delay. The admins do not need you to make excuses for them. They need to either change their promises to something they CAN meet, or to change their updaing schedule to what is actually promised.

As others have pointed out... And I will agree with... The quality of the images are great. The videos in my opinion suck horribly. I want to see the more attractive girls in their photoshoots. Not the "okay" girls in what loots to be a poorly staged masterbation film. It took me weeks before I even got the vids to play. 47 emails, yes FOURTY SEVEN emails to support were completely ignored (anyone else not suprised?). I finally figured out the issue myself (don't ask me what it was, I don't even remember. I THINK my ffdshow needed updated or something). As I said, I joined Met-Art, and chances are, I probably will cancel after the next update (IF there is a next update). Then I will re-join every 3-4 months to get the backlog of updates.

Just curious, how many people here do rejoin and stay? I was under the impression that pretty much everybody did the once-every-6-months to a year thing. I couldn't imagine shelling out $45 a month for two updates a month. If anyone is really pissed doing that, I don't blame them. But on the same note, I wanna smack'em a little for not catching on and just subscribing once every few months. Heck, you could even mass-download the pics with curl or something and only look at one set each working day to make it feel like you're still subscribing.

I actually thought of a valid reason why GS may not want people to remain constant subscribers. It might have to do with their webmaster program. Assuming he has to pay out to webmasters for every month a referred customer remains a member, he would actually be saving money by having people just sign up once. The next time they subscribe 6 months later, odds are they'll just come straight to the site and GS wouldn't owe any webmasters for that second subscription. They know their content is absolutely unique and good enough to grab most of us by the balls, and so they know we'll be back periodically. The site's prices are high enough to support this as well. At $45 for just one month, after subscribing just 3 times in a year, I would have already given them the same amount of money I would have given ALS scan for a year-long membership, and none of that money would be going to webmasters. So simply put, GS might actually have good reasons not to care if we're regular members or not. He's already rolling in too much cash, coke and Jessica/Mishelle sandwitch.

Does that make sense to anyone, or am I out in left field?

GS, did I nail you, you dirty dog? Wink

Until they block your account and toss up a "Dear Abuser" message like I've been getting.

Oh. The last ACTUAL Update was done on Feb 10th, I don't care that the date says Feb 17th, the update was done on the 10th. It is now March 4th. This is THREE WEEKS and no update!

If TA is going to cause even further delays for updating, then I think it's a *BAD* idea. The customers who "put up with" a "few days delay" are not going to be willing to "put up with" one update a month. I don't care how good the content is.

ALS... Another high quality site Smile Joined them ages ago.

I will be dropping my membership at renewal. If a site advertises daily updates, that's what I expect. I am a member of other sites that actual are to do it. This is a business and I'm paying for a product that is not being delivered. Given that I'll take my money elsewhere.

Gee Super P, and I thought we were friends, consider me smacked! Crying or Very sad

45 bucks? Two updates a month? They are late, but looking back at the list of updates at the TF site over the past year, there are updates for every working day available for download up to the last update made.

Heres what I pay:
Quote:
30-Day Membership - $39.95 (Rebills $29.95/31 days)

But why would it cause you to get angry just because someone else has different standards for their behavior. I know I can join once every so many months like dizzy and get all the updates at a lot cheaper cost. If I pay the reduced re-bill price every month, It is because that is what I choose to do. I don't care as much about what other people think of me, but what I think of me. I have to live with "me".

Dizzy I drifted off halfway through your post (it made me dizzy!) JK. But I can see this is going nowhere between you and I. I am sorry if I offended you with my rhetoric, and I hope you will reconsider renewing your membership, if not now maybe later. At least stick around and post some of those ALS pics!

Err, what I meant was to smack the people that have been re-subscribing for months AND still complaining about the updates because the semi-annual thing is an easy and obvious solution to their problems, especially considering how bitching to GS has so far been absolutely futile. If I'm not mistaken, you're one of the few who really hasn't complained about updates at all yet, so you're not smacked yet in my book. If you have the cash to re-subscribe all year long and that's what makes you happy, then more power to ya!!!

Oh, and I pay the $39.95 too, only I always cancel before the rebill.
