Bravo on posting vid 25. But I have to agree with some others she does a pretty poor job at modelling, she's definately only in it to make a bit of cash (which it's hard to believe these sites do given the competition).
Well, in the end, how good she is at modelling isn't really the same as how appealing she is as a model. She had a girl-next-door quality— maybe-too-shy-to-show-it-but-maybe-able-to-be-talked-into-it—that pressed a familiar emotional button, evoked a pleasant memory, and was appealing to a lot of guys-next-door. They could have parlayed that into a lot more success, or so I think, but I don't see that they're making the most of that opportunity. The more the pictures reflect the exaggerated mannerisms of a fashion model, the more they tend toward a **** artificiality that's a lot less winsome, and that obviates her most alluring and appealing qualities. (They also should be more thoughtful about the hair and makeup, and use them to create a spontaneous, relaxed, and uninhibited personna, not just as a cosmetic surface that seems to be increasingly self-consious and mannered. Compare the more natural style in the BlackLaceOpen set, or that BlackBustierSilverHooks look from some time ago, with the immovable plastic forehead swoosh and hair-like-a-helmet style in the recent group.) If an easygoing, intuitive, attractiveness were the subtext of the images and videos, the sultryness and sensuality would create an exhilerating counterpoint. Instead, it feels as if there's a required set of poses, and it's a matter of simply going through the motions to complete the series. But even a set of still pictures, done with imagination and invention, can tell a story. A model can (sometimes with a little help from the director) imagine each picture as a captive instant in a narrative sequence, using gesture and expression to entice the viewer to fill in the moments between the fames, and seductively coaxing his attention and curiosity this way and that. Alas. The more standard procedure is: Prefabricated Pose A. Click. Prefabricated Pose B. Click. Prefabricated Pose C. Click. etc. etc. And the videos often lapse into a series of sequential, static tableaux. Wouldn't it be fun if it felt like they were having more fun?
Or maybe I'm the only one who thinks this way. And these musings may all be tedious and boring.
That being said, I'd love to see some recent video clips to be able to think about all this some more.
