The Long Goodbye (1973)

For those that have seen this movie, have you ever seen a more inappropriate movie poster? From the poster you'd be execting a movie like Animal House, or since it's Altman, M*A*S*H.

For those that haven't seen it, well, see it, it's one of the best American movies of the 70's, which is no mean feat given that the 70's was probably the best ever decade for American film.

I'm sure Chamonix is lovely at this time of year, but not if you want to ski, which is after all why most people go there. Razz

Indeed, although there are two major cycling events that draw the crowds this time of year. The month-long pro event is obviously well publisized but the world's toughest one-day amateur race is also held around this time of year.
