What the hell I can't get the thumbnail previews or images to display anymore. Links work fine, but images won't display.

I had the same problem, the lionks would only last a week then I would have to re upload the pictures. my current sig is loaded at tiny pic and has lasted well over a month.

I think we should suggest to all members who ask to upload directly to forumophilia server direct when doing pics... the best alternative for certain pics (sigs etc) and posters who post stuff on many forums I would sugest using imagevenue over the likes of pix.nofrag and imageshack which seem to constantly have problems here!

This is a problem and I think it should be highlighted maybe in a sticky or announcement

Had a quick check around my posts and all is well.
Also my sig is on nofrag and has been fine for over a month without need to reload.
There was a period of time when I had to do a daily upload/refresh.

I think your problem is due to some design changes that has taken place in their internal serverstructure.
The filethree has been redesigned.

Both links are working and pointing to the same pic.
In the meantime when this was taking place you might could have experienced acces problems.

I just noticed something about pix.nofrag - me thinks it's the volume of viewers that makes the pics disappear. They said something about it on the site, and I just noticed that all the pictures I lost here in my thread, are still up in lesser visited forums that I post in.

They do mention, GK, a 1GB bandwitdh limit/day but I thought that was per image and not site related.

I use the links they tell me to use, but they don't display. None of the pics I used in my asian thread work any longer.

If the Asian thread is the one you have in your signature then I don't understand what you are talking about.
In all four pages all your preview pics are showing.

I can't see your sig either. Why all the sudden can I not see images from this website? The other sites work fine. I made no changes to Firefox settings.

We have established that the problem isn't nofrag as such.
Could be that your ISP have banned the site.
I have also at some time experienced the peculiarity that from one of my computers I couldn't acces the startpage or any uploaded pics.
From my other computer no problem.
Both has XP and I'm using IE.
Still don't know what caused it or cured it.
Only time. I tryed computer restart and it didn't solve it.

I've also had problems with pics from pix.nofrag. None of the thumbnails will show and if I click on a link it comes up 403 forbidden. At first I thought it must be something at my end but if I copy the link location and paste it into a new tab/window it displays fine. All i can think of is that there is some limit or block to pics there from this site.

Same thing happens with svinto's links above if I click on them it comes up 403 but if I copy and paste it works fine.

Personally I always use ImageVenue and have never had a problem, I would suggest everyone else do the same, but if you want to see any old nofrag pics try the copy and paste link, I hope it works for you too.

I can right click & select view image to see them. I prefer the option to display a large thumbnail though. An option Imageavenue doesn't have. Also, Imageavenue causes my virus scanner warning to go off from the pop ups I get there.

From the site: "Pictures remain online as long as they're viewed. After one year without any requests, pictures will be automatically deleted. Also, pictures generating traffic exceeding 1GB per day will return a 403 (permission denied) error."

they are blocking forumophilia

simply stop sending referer by either:
1. copy and paste the url in a new window or
2. if you're using firefox, go to about:config, type in "referer" to filter down to network.http.sendRefererHeader, set the value to 0.
