Mates, that GEMA-News is one year old, the DDOS is a hoax. There's a problem with the nameservers, that's all. the servers are currently up and running, trust me. i'm to lazy to post a screenie, but just downloaded some stuff from rs.com 5 minutes ago. i just had to edit my host-file. RS will be back, thats just a matter of time.

They have to take all illegal files down if they get a note from visitors but its not necessary to control and check every file,simply because it would be too much.Thats what the court says.

Starting sometime today, all of their servers went offline. Their Wiki Page alludes to legal troubles with GEMA. While their main webpage www.rapidshare.de is still up, all download sites are offline. That is really sad since, in my opinion, their service was far superior than any of their competitors.

RS.com is running again, no need to copy/paste anything

RS.com is working fine. I had a problem with one server, but was able to download on another one. Now, everything is working fine.
I hope that this was a rumor.

Their news page said one of their suppliers had a problem and so they lost a ton of bandwidth. Just didnt seem to have a good disaster recovery plan.

Maybe someone can tell me whats going on with my RS folders...

i just signed into my rs account and found that all but 1 of
my folders has disapeared... the files are still there but folders
are gone?

so now creating new folders... moving files into the new folders and
the files no longer have the name of the folder next to them. they just have a "?" next to them.

anybody know thats up? how that hapened? was my pass word compromised in some sort of way?
