Can't search here any more?

I get the following message every time now:

"You cannot make another search so soon after your last; please try again in a short while."

Sometimes it's weeks between visits to the computer or this site, but the message is still there on first search. I clear caches, delete cookies and wipe everything clear but as soon as I try to search, the message comes back. What's the problem, or the cure?

There is search flood limit, you have to wait some time between searches (less than one minute). When you send requests to forum search engine too fast - you get this messages. But i guess you knew this?!

I thought there might be some kind of limit for guests rather than logged-in users, but sometimes it's weeks before I get home to the PC and I get the message on first search, even after so long away.
