How to safely upload to rapidshare?

So, I have this clip about a "freckled faced kid" taking a quadruple creampie, that i think is really awesome, and should be shared with the community. Don´t be misguided, it´s 18+, it´s just how she adresses herself.

Is there a way to upload the clip to rapidshare without leaving a trace? Sadly I haven´t been able to find an anonymous proxy for that purpose. And I won´t believe that rapidshare doesn´t log uploaders IPs, they only promise that for downloaders.

Any help for a paranoid guy like me(except saying I´m overly cautious)?

I would recommend first changing the file name to something innocent. (Vacation Pictures etc.) Then Zip it with WinRar, password protect it and check the "Encrypt File Names" box. Never leave "shady" terms in a file name.

Thanks for your input, but those measures only help reducing the chance that files aren´t identified and deleted easily lateron. I want some information barrier while uploading.

I would recommend the things that bigpaulie426 said,I dont think that using a proxy while uploading to RS makes sense.

I agree with Diabolic and BigP,

JAP is great, but can be slow. Dresden is probably the best 'free' but most busy server. There are cascades you can pay to join which will be quicker. I don't know what transport RS use but if it's FTP I don;t think that'll work via JAP - I may be wrong, if so please correct me.

As it is 'legal' do as BigP said and hide the file under a psuedoname, pw protected with encryption - if you need help on how to do this with WinRAR shoot me a PM.

At the end of the day, if in doubt don't post it or U/L to RS...

If you want to be to be absolutley anonymous online you may forget about rapidshare altogether as you need to have scripts allowed in your browser to use it. You would need to d/l special software and use a hoster that does not require javascript (this is heading into complicated territory for members of a large forum like this)

For the file you are talking about uploading to rapidshare is fine! As mentioned change the file name to an innocent name, rar it and add a password and include encryption of individual file names and then make sure where share it online that you don't make the link a clickable link (highlight the link and hit code button on this forum when posting). This is enough!

If you don't personally want to be id'd to it (for personal reasons, I guess) then send it to me via a PM - or anyone for that matter - and I'll post your links in its own thread or, if you prefer, I'll reup the links myself . As long as its perfectly legal and as good as you say it is then it would be my pleasure to share it in the forum - just let me know what you want said (if anything)

It sounds to me like the file is not "fine" or else there would not logically be a resistance to the simple, common steps bigpaulie suggested. There is no penalty for having files removed...unless there is something in there that is illegal.

I am the most paranoid person I know, and I have no reservations about uploading porn to RS.

My first reaction to your comment was to check and see how many members we are up to now. 161,783! Holy crap. I was thinking the idea of a coworker being a member here was pretty far fetched, but maybe not as much as I thought. 1 out of every 50,000 human beings is a member here.

Starting with around 8 billion humans and eliminateing at least 70% of those people who don't have computers and/or internet access, and that number is 2.4B. Of course, that by no means means that they would know who you were because of the content you uploaded to RS.

dont forget peeps that using an anon proxy is not as "safe" or as "annon" as you may think, at the end of the day, safeweb etc still know your ip addy,


fortunately i still have all my files intact on rapidshare, "que files reported",

at the end of the day, as long as one stays clear of the **** porn which i,m sure 99.9% of us do, and the snuff stuff etc, should be ok,


i once had email from a website that wanted me to remove some files i had posted , i did as they asked and that was the end of it, and i was sent a 1 month pass for the said website, but.........i get about 150-200 spam emails a month,

1st rename the file then
whatever the file size i would suggest you password-protect it with winrar
and then use HJSplit to split it into 3(eg) parts that way no individual
part is viewable in any way without a password.

you could try using a different service to rapidshare,for instance
partage-facile (not sure whether they are acceptable here but
they are not on the banned list).

for the upload:
you could try a service that anonymises the IP and encrypts data at the same time, look at JAP or try the trial version of an app like ghostsurf.
you are looking at a v slow upload speed whatever option you choose

before you post:
i would strongly suggest you send a pm with the links to the relevant
mod just to make absolutely sure that everything is kosher
