I wasn't picking on you at all, Sugarman. I just "have a bad feeling about this" content that he seems to be going to great lengths to distance himself from.
My first reaction to your comment was to check and see how many members we are up to now.
161,783! Holy crap. I was thinking the idea of a coworker being a member here was pretty far fetched, but maybe not as much as I thought. 1 out of every 50,000 human beings is a member here.
Starting with around 8 billion humans and eliminateing at least 70% of those people who don't have computers and/or internet access, and that number is 2.4B. Since the young and the elderly are probably not well represented here, take out another 50% for the boomer generation(s) and the new boom generation(s) and we are down to about 1.2B. Eliminate 95% of women and 30% of men (I'm guesstimating here) who are not interested in porn, and you are down to somewhere around 225M. Figure about 20% of the rest are hunting for porn enough that they end up joining forums and message boards, and that 20% of them might occasion to come across this forum over time.
So the total number of different people who might be expected to come across this site over time is in the ballpark of 9M. Meaning that the 160K+
membership represents 1/50th of the total possible pool of human beings who might be predicted to come across this site, which is a damned good ratio for any group membership. The point being that if you work in a company full of people similar to you (us) and your company has more than 50 employees, it is conceivable that there could be another employee in your company who is a member here!
Of course, that by no means means that they would know who you were because of the content you uploaded to RS.
Unless they were in it.
