Rapidshare Happy Hours

Those damned cats are tough to make out just like everyone has been saying. It's be a lot easier if they were a different color of gray compared to the letters.

I've seen on other forums various tools to use on rapidshare downloads but I make it a point to try and avoid all freeware and most other downloaded programs. I'm not even that keen on rar, just downloading it once in a great while to open a batch of its folders than uninstalling and deleting it.

I imagine that the greatest expense that rapidshare has now is for lawyers.

Those tools are called RSD,Cryptload,USD(Universal Share Downloader).As far as I know,the USD is also working with other hosters.
Dont ask me about the correct settings,especially about the reconnectfile,I have no idea.

that cat-finding system was annoying, i hope they change that! but during these happy hours, sometimes i still get waiting times, not sure for some of ya.

What exactly is the big attraction of Happy Hours anyway?? The lack of having to wait 60 seconds to DL a file? Big freaking deal.

I thought it meant that there was no wait after finishing one file before you could start another DL (this would actually have value). But when one file finishes and I try to start another, I still get the you-have-already-exceeded-your-limit message and am told I need to wait X number of minutes before trying again.

So if Happy Hours is only saving you the 60 second delay before you can download your 1 file every 2 hours, I repeat - what exactly is the big attraction?? What is one more minute added on to 2 hours?



[Also, I agree with the stupid cat thing - it certainly seems discriminatory against the 'visually impaired,' since often I have a hard time figuring it out with 20/20 eyesight.]

probably easier to just get a premium if you can afford it and then start sharing to get points and renew renew renew
