What is a good alternative to Rapidshare?

I would like to mirror my files and was wondering what the best alternatives to rapidshare would be. Is rapidshare the only one that has a program for uploading?

Lots of places offer a free program to upload but there all crap. RS's is really a joke programming wise.

Megaupload

I refuse to use Megaupload since their toolbar is malware. But they do have a good selection of stuff and a decent price. Rapidshare is the only good one I've found so far but their download limit annoys the hell out of me because I can't download simultaneous files without the download quota skyrocketing.

For people who want to download for free, megaupload is among the best file hosting sites on the Internet, IMO.

Good thread. I've used flyupload.com, but a few of my friends have complained about the ads. You can upload up to 2 gigs per file.

Hello everyone,

This is a great suggestion since most of the free file hosts take soooooooo long to upload and are mostly limited. My question is about something that worries me. Most of the file hosts say in their rules that anything pornographic is illegal to store and you can be prosecuted for it. Is this true? Has it ever happened. I would love to store some of the gems from this site but don't want to end up in jail. I don't eat much anyway and would never eat jail food, so I would starve to death, LOL. No seriously. If anyone here has any advice, please let me know. Thank you

I didn't get any popups. If you did then your using IE and already infested with crap being that you visit porno sites.

The site has no dl limit and is super fast. There's a captcha but it's easy and there's no wait.

With nothing sites being added to the other list, "do not post" plus files being deleted left and right, your putting yourself in a real corner. So much so that it almost looks like some staff WANT the site to go the way of bikini, fritchy, anotherforum etc.

Abraxas, the people who own forumophilia get paid for us to post. So I don't know what you care about how some other site is run. Maybe you expect everything to be free.
