I have over 100,000 videos over 8 large drives, giving me around 180TB of content;
In general terms, I organise most of my content based on subject matter.
It doesn’t matter if there is oral sex in an anal titled video for example, it will still go into the Anal folder and then into the studio that produced it. i.e. JulesJordan, EA, LeWood, etc.
So subject name, then studio name.
Example: BDSM>studios>SexandSubmission
Example: Group>Studio>VKStudio
The I have what I call movies, which between 1960s and partly into the 1990s, there were full feature type movies, with a theme/plot, lines that the performers spoke and which look like regular films at the start. These are all sorted by period;
1960s-1984, 1985-1999, 2000-2019, 2020- current.
I consider 1984 the last year of the Golden Age of Porn, hence why I label the first folder that way.
I also have folders for Mainstream movies, Parody films, Rare films, Softcore films, and unusual films.
I have a drive just for Castings (BCC, CC-HD, CC-X, NVG, WCX, etc).
I have a drive for Fetish (Hentaied, Parasited, Hucows, Cosplay, Medical and over 50 further subjects)
Another drive has Amateur stuff (not Homemade, this has its own folder elsewhere) organised by subject and then by name of the performer. If the performer/performers are only into one thing, like BJs, then their folder will branch off from the BJs folder.
I also have folders for all the females that I like, for when they are the only female in the video, their name is in the title and the video doesn’t qualify to be held in any other folder. This is often any OF stuff the female has done, ManyVids, solo scenes. This gets tricky sometimes because some professional female performers used to be Amateurs and now are pros, so where to put their videos?
