It's a sprawling historical trilogy directed by Antonio Adamo.
"Ancient Rome was a complex world of violence, betrayal, and sexual depravity, and that's the theme for an erotic film," said Jonas Ramirez, head of sales at Daring.
Adamo previously directed the historical films "Cleopatra" and "Gladiator" for Private Media Group.
According to Ramirez, Adamo reconstructed Roman interiors in a Naples production studio. "Many decorators, artists, and set designers spent many weeks creating the Roman Empire, the Senate, the residences of the Roman nobility, the tents of Caesar's army, the slave quarters, and the brothels of Rome. When the work was finished and the Jupiters were activated, the Rome of Caesar and Mark Antony rose from the ashes." "The exterior of ancient Rome was difficult to recreate. Antonio found some locations in Naples that resembled ancient Rome, but for the rest, as in Hollywood, Antonio shot in front of a green screen. In post-production, the Daring CGI team transformed this live-action image into ancient Rome."
The cast of "Roma" includes more than forty actors, including Julia Taylor, Dora Venter, Angel Dark, Jennifer Love, Lydia St. Martin, Claudia Rossi, Corry Baby, and Emily Doll.
"It took over 20 days of intense filming... the film has 68 scenes that form a massive trilogy."
Starting with "Roma." The company aims to release a film a month, working with directors such as Adamo, Christophe Mourthu and Kendo.
