Heeee's baaaaack. Twisted Evil

Can't let this thread fall down so low, although maybe SD wants it that way. Ah well, even Mods with 4 billion posts can't...always get...what they want.

Oh Canada, part the third. Some of these are repeats in this thread; some of these are ridiculously easy; some of these are from some groups that SD grooves on (but RM dislikes); and others might be quite the stumpers. Though I left out the Tragically Hip, Shania Twain, Celine Dion (gag), and Bruck Cockburn.

Given that I factored in the current exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollars (and rounded up), I ended up with a dozen in this third and final Canadian installment. Oh, jeez, okay, actually its because there are 12 beers in 2 sixers, eh?

1.
Crazy Chester followed me, and he caught me in the fog.
He said, "I will fix your rack, if you'll take Jack, my dog."
I said, "Wait a minute, Chester, you know I'm a peaceful man."
He said, "That's okay, boy, won't you feed him when you can."

2.
And I don't understand, the touch of your hand
I would be the one to fall, I miss the little things
I miss everything about you
It doesn't mean much, it doesn't mean anything at all
The life I've left behind me, is a cold room

3.
You're beautiful, that's for sure
You'll never ever fade
You're lovely but it's not for sure
That I won't ever change
And though my love is rare
Though my love is true

4.
Up in Memphis the music's like a heatwave.
White lightning, bound to drive you wild.
Mama's baby's in the heart of every school girl.
"Love me tender" leaves 'em cryin' in the aisle.

5.
'Cause then there was this boy whose
Parents made him come directly home right after school
And when they went to their church
They shook and lurched all over the church floor
He couldn't quite explain it, they'd always just gone there

6.
The others were untrue , but when it came to lovin' you
I'd spend my whole life with you
'Cause you came and you took control, you touched my very soul
You always showed me that, lovin' you is where it's at

7.
Cool town, evening in the city
Dressing so fine and looking so pretty
Cool cat, looking for a kitty
Gonna look in every corner of the city

8.
You want a piece of my heart, you better start from the start
you wanna be in the show, c'mon baby let's go
Everyone's lookin' to see if it was you, everyone wants you to come through
Everyone's hopin' it'll all work out, everyone's waiting to hold you out

9.
With a little perserverance you can get things done
Without a blind adherence that has conquered some
And nobody wants to know you now
And nobody wants to show you how

10.
The days grow shorter and the nights are getting long
Feels like we're running out of time
Every day it seems much harder tellin' right from wrong
You got to read between the lines

11.
I'm jaded and you're beautiful,
I'm deluded and envious of you.
You're caring that I'm hurting,
but I'm laughing 'cause I'm lying.
And you believe what I say to be true

12.
A while ago somewhere I don't know when
I was watching a movie with a friend.
I fell in love with the actress.
She was playing a part that I could understand

Keep on rockin', you hosers.

Only thing I think you repeated was the artist -- as in the first several lyrics -- but I shall leave them for other brave souls. Well, they say the short-term memory is the first to go.

Speaking of old ... and when I say "old" I mean really leathery disgusting stop-performing-already old ...

#7. Rolling Stones - Emotional Rescue.

Thought I'd give this a bump SD, but it looks like there's no one else at the party. Confused Just you and me, livin' off the bones of our arses.
