Thanks IMDb! Laughing

Next one: Easy!!

Well, let them. Let them see what kind of a person I am. I'm not even going to swat that fly. I hope they are watching... they'll see. They'll see and they'll know, and they'll say, "Why, she wouldn't even harm a fly...”

Sure is easy, Norman Bates in Psycho, I've seen pretty much everything Hitchcock did, and the major ones many times.

I like easy one when the lines are truly memorable.

Eva Marie Saint in North By Northwest (1959).

Staying with Hitchcock and nourishment:

I can't face the world in the morning. I must have coffee before I can speak.

Hint: from my favourite Alfred Hitchcock film!

Shadow of a Doubt - I had to look it up. Embarassed

Try this, the conversation takes place over coffee so continuing the theme of your quotation.

Man 1: I don't know how to do anything else.
Man 2: Neither do I.
Man 1: I don't much want to either.
Man 2: Neither do I.

I did inhale because I thought 'What the hell, it's lit, it's in my hand, I'll inhale it.'

Hint: American presidential politics...

Is Man Of The Year any good?

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when my fear is gone I will turn and face fear's path, and only I will remain."

Can't posts be deleted any more? I got a server error after posting so thought the posts failed, hence the duplicates that I can't delete.

Man of the Year has its funny and serious moments and an excellent commentary on the American way of electing a president. Yes I would recommend it.

I have not heard of the new quote before so to keep going I checked IMDb: Dune (1984). No wonder, I have not seen the movie although I read the novel a long time ago. I am not a fan of the trend most Sci Fiction films have taken since Star Wars I with the noted exception of Alien (I).

Never underestimate a man's ability to underestimate a woman.

Dune is very good, a David Lynch take on SF.

V.I. Warshawski (looked up too Embarassed )

It made me think of:

"Never underestimate the power of denial."

American Beauty

Staying with denials, from a favorite movie of mine:

Yet how can this be? Because this silence betokened, nay, this silence was, not silence at all, but most eloquent denial!

A Man For All Seasons - I did the play at school.

-: Is fashion such a serious consideration?
-: Among those who have nothing more serious to consider.

Personally, I liked the university. They gave us money and facilities, we didn't have to produce anything! You've never been out of college! You don't know what it's like out there! I've *worked* in the private sector. They expect *results*.
