...don't post a reply to old threads, especially if all you are going to do is say "thanks" or add a smiley. Newer, fresher posts are obscured by certain people repeatedly doing this (you know who you are!).

If you have anything new to add to the subject, start a new topic and refer to the original.

I apologise if I have offended anyone but it's just getting beyond a mere annoyance!

There is no offense for anybody, angelus. Agree with you and apologize myself if any occasion I did such a thing...

No need to apologise, artxxx, it's really the repeat offenders who are being (perhaps, unknowingly) pests. I think we have all done it at some time or another due to these people bumping old threads to the top of the page in an effort to raise their post count. Smile

You are right angelus71, but...

I thing it would be better to follow the old post. If a topic ages and then somebody starts another one, it will age as well, then it will be something difficult to follow the topic, having to check two or tree old topics. Besides, if two guys have something to add in an old topic and they create a new topic each (each one not knowing about the other one), it will be more difficult to follow the topic (and if it's a hot topic it will grow like a three).

Of course, when I say a topic is old I mean one month or something, and if somebody has something to add it should be something worth to read or see, not just a "thanks", in that case, as you wrote, please don´t bring the dead upon the alive.

Well said, Alp-boy. If you are talking about posts that around one month old, that's the way to go. When I talk about old, though, I mean about 2-3 months or older.

We don't need to sticky this thread. In about six months, some jerk will reply with "Yes, Good idea!"

A sense of humour is appreciated, and indeed necessary, on this forum, as you will discover! Welcome aboard!

If you do it right, you might get black-and-blue balled for it. Smile

Welcome. Feel free to lurk for a while if it makes you comfortable, or wade right in like you just did, with a post or two.

Just try to follow the rules about idiots and models not old enough to vote. This board naturally attracts 2 kinds of people:
1) Pornographers who prefer extremely youthful models.
2) Agencies who want to throw #1 in jail.

We don't particularly like either of those groups and so if we ban #1, the #2's should just go away.

and furthermore...if #2 catches number 1...then number 1 may find it hard to go number two after his cellmate gets ahold of him... i think i get it now
