they had text, then they had pics ... so everything
was in place
those phone lines had been in place for 100 years
but we d hardly used them in all that time

Newsprint is hurting big time. Several major newspapers have gone bankrupt (tribune, phil. inquirer etc)
I remember when jpg was so revolutionary. No more downloading gifs, bmps. Even worse, I remember having 5 second video clips with crappy green interference because my drivers were not right... man those were the days.
