#2ABC -Poison Arrow
#9Paul Simon something from Graceland I just can't put my finger on it.

edit:The Boy in the Bubble-I knew if I stopped trying to think of it I would.

The solution to problems usually comes from the direction we least expect.Consequently there is no point in looking in that direction, because that's not where it's coming from. Douglas Adams.

This is an interesting thread and something a little different so hopefully you are only referring to this particular set of songs!

From the answers, I can see there was a couple more that I really should have gotten.

I think ramblin'man would have guessed a few, but he seems to be away at the moment.

I certainly haven't lost interest, it's just that most of the music I really like (and know the answers to) is from the late sixties through about the mid seventies. Please keep this thread going!

Bugger me, as the actress said to the priest. I've noticed this tread title popping up but I've never looked in to it as I've not had much time recently. Now I see SD has got a good line in lines. If only I'd looked in a few days earlier I'd have got the Visage and Phil Collins stuff.

I'll be back to compete here.

A contribution from me to test your knowledge.

This song was the introduction to a tv series, popular in its time. What is it's title (fairly obvious) and what was the tv series about. Save and change the file extension from wmv to mp3 to play it.

I may seem mad to include it here but it has a connection with our presence here. Who was the main actress and what is that connection?

Absolutely no clue and I was glued to the TV back then.

It seems no-one is going to get this so I'll put you out of your misery.

The music and tv series was called White Horses and was about a girl staying with her uncle who trained Lipitzaner horses (as used in the Vienna Spanish riding school). Filmed in Yugoslavia in 1968.

The connection with us here? Helga Anders was the girl and went on to become a pron actress.

Yep, I was away, and could have snagged the Phil Collins and Kajagoogoo ones, although godDAMN that's embarrassing. Oh, and who or what the frick is Visage?

C'mon now Sir Darkstar, don't stop. Please. Pleeeeaase. (don't you wish I was TF Grace saying that?)

Sorry Albi, never heard of the show or actress. Although with a name like HELGA, she simply HAD to be one of the girls in those old German Color-Climax movies ... you know, with the heavy blue eyeliner, the big ol' hairy bushes, and so on.

Okay, SD, bring it!
