I have another classic. Don't get fooled by your first impression!

that's Cleopatra i believe.

Sorry, that's not correct, but it's a quite near miss. Wink But don't be ashamed, it's a reasonable mistake I thought of, when I wrote "Don't get fooled by your first impression!" in my original post. So try again. Wink

Tis not Cleopatra, tis Poppaea!

Or rather it's Claudette Colbert as Poppaea bathing in asses milk in The Sign of the Cross (1934)!

screenshot

Okay, this one should be easy! To make it a little harder: what's the connection with the previous film? Very Happy

Well, you got it (but was released already in 1932). If somebody wants to see Poppaea/Claudette having that bath in ass milk, just a short hint and I will up that short clip (~3 min). Wink

Charles Laughton, who directed "The Night of the Hunter" in 1955 starring Robert Mictchum (who won't be afraid of preachers after seeing him?), Shelley Winters and Lillian Gish, played Emperor Nero in "The Sign of the Cross". Wink

I never get tired of classic movies. Try this one.

Hey, it's Claudette again!

With Clark Gable in It Happened One Night (1934). One of the first films to 'sweep' the Oscars by winning Best Film, Director, Actor, Actress and Screenplay.

Okay, this one's a little tougher. Smile

Another marvelous comedy: screenshot by Preston Sturges starring Joel McCrea and a beautiful Veronica Lake, all together in their prime in 1941.

And this one should not be too difficult:

Angel and the Badman (1947)

John Wayne & Gail Russel

A considerably under-rated John Wayne movie

Okay! This one is easy! So the one who guesses it, must give us a challenge of his/her own!

It's "The Mask of Fu Manchu" from 1932 directed by Charles Brabin. Boris Karloff stars as Fu Manchu, Karen Morley as the girl in the screenshot, Myrna Loy as a Chinese princess and the torture chamber as itself!

So here's a new one:
