Even I'm no expert for recent movies, I suspect this to be "Becoming Jane" from last year with Anne Hathaway, James McAvoy, Julie Walters, James Comwell and Maggie Smith.

Becoming Jane, it is. A chick flick, if I have ever seen one!

Here is another classic by me and again it's only a weapon I will show first (its from the final second of the movie). If it's too difficult, here is a shot that shows the actors, too. Wink

Yeah, that's it. A real masterpiece, a superb start of the James Stewart/Anthony Mann partnership and an alltime favorite of mine. Embarassed
(and may I say it, the best western Aaron Rosenberg produced, even if his list includes such classics as "Bend of the River" "Man Without a Star" and especially "Backlash")

Yup. Pretty startling for its time, since "nice-guy" Jimmy Stewart played a not-so-nice guy.

Here's a new one:

Was already clear to me after the first pic, but it's good to see the late Richard Widmark in his first role (and a terrific start it was, getting a Academy Award nomination).
So the movie is "Kiss of Death" by Henry Hathaway (1947), starring Victor Mature, Brian Donlevy (both seen in the first pic) and Richard Widmark (the guy who's "helping" the old lady down the stairs), a really dark "film noir".

Yup. RIP Richard Widmark.

The third guy in the first pic is Millard Mitchell, who played Jimmy Stewart's partner "High Spade" in Winchester '73.

I also thought this could be Millard Mitchell, but as I wasn't sure I checked it with IMDb and he was completly overlooked for that movie. They surely need some update for it.

Ok, I have another little gem from that time.

A Foreign Affair (1948) - Billy Wilder, one of Hollywood's true geniuses.

The IMDB also missed Mildred Dunnock, the lady in the wheelchair. I mean, c'mon, that's one of the most iconic moments in Hollywood history. Confused
